The Lausanne Conference with its before and after is worth to study not only for Turkish foreign policy, but also for Turkish domestic policy. During the negotiations in Lausanne, some arguments took place about the Turkish Committee and the Turkish Government that represented the Turkish side, these arguments lasted after being signed the Lausanne Treaty and reached today. In this respect, the issue of representation of Turkey emerged before the Conference and was concluded by the certain attitude of Mustafa Kemal Pasha. The arguments have not ended although the decisive attitude of Mustafa Kemal Pasha about being sole in power of the TBMM Government in the political area after abolishing the Sultanate and constituting a committee presided by İsmet Pasha, responded the questions of which government and which committee at that time.
