Gingival Vascular Hamartoma in a Calf

This report describes a case of gingival vascular hamartoma in an one month old Brown Swiss heifer calf. Macroscopically, the mass was 5.1 x 2.7 cm in size and reddish gray in color. The mass was localised on the rostral mandibular gingiva adjacent to the central incisor teeth. The mass was surgically removed and in histopathological examination, a gingival vascular hamartoma was revealed. No recurrence was observed during the 9-month postoperative follow-up period.
