Abstract :
Independence Tribunals were established in the period of War of Independence. Its first task was to prosecute deserter. Members are chosen from among the member of the Turkish National Assembly. Independence court was also used to repress the opposition by goverment. Prominent of these courts was the Ankara court independence in terms of duration it has worked, it has decided to give. These courts judged participants in the event of a hat, those arrested for alleged assassination Ataturk. In this article, described that the establishment of courts and revealed its significant accomplishments in the historical process.
