BIBO stability in 3-D digital filters

In this brief, we consider the problem of binary input binary output stability of three-dimensional linear shift-invariant filters, in the presence of nonessential singularities of the second kind. We derive necessary and sufficient conditions for l/sub 1/ and l/sub 2/ stabilities of a function G=P/Q/sup n/, where P and Q are polynomials in the complex variable z.
