Apiration cytology of metatatic chordoma to the orbit

PURPOE: To report a cae of metatatic tumor to the left orbit from a acrococcygeal chordoma. METHOD: A 48-year-old man with a acrococcygeal chordoma developed left orbit welling, left eye proptoi with deteriorating viion, and the inability to walk. Fine needle apiration cytology (FNAC) of the orbital tumor and acrococcygeal tumor wa performed. REULT: Fine needle apiration cytology (FNAC) howed feature of acrococcygeal chordoma with metatatic tumor to the left orbit. CONCLUION: Although chordoma rarely metataize, thi cae demontrate chordoma metatatic to the orbit.
