Central retinal artery occluion a the initial ign of aortic valve papillary fibroelatoma

PURPOE: We decribe a central retinal artery occluion in a young man who wa ubequently found to have an aortic valve papillary fibroelatoma. METHOD: Cae report with clinical, echocardiographic, and hitopathologic obervation. REULT: The aortic valve papillary fibroelatoma wa uccefully treated with tumor reection. CONCLUION: Appropriate invetigation in young patient with central retinal artery occluion hould therefore be conducted, including tranthoracic and traneophageal echocardiography, to diagnoe and treat thi tumor, becaue failure to diagnoe thi tumor may reult in further embolic event, including troke and udden death
