Iatrogenic keratectaia after a deep primary keratotomy during laer in itu keratomileui

PURPOE: To decribe a cae of keratectaia after a deep primary keratotomy during an aborted laer in itu keratomileui procedure. METHOD: Retropective, obervational cae report. REULT: In a 47-year-old woman, progreive keratectaia developed after a 90% depth keratotomy during an aborted laer in itu keratomileui procedure. Thi cae wa managed with a rigid ga permeable contact len and conideration for penetrating keratoplaty. CONCLUION: Keratectaia i a reported microkeratome-related complication after laer in itu keratomileui. Appropriate microkeratome aembly and urgeon awarene are neceary to avoid thi complication.
