Abstract :
Purpoe To invetigate the poible factor involved in the development of acute hydrop in patient with keratoconu. Deign Propective interventional cae erie. Method Thirteen conecutive keratoconic eye of 13 patient with acute hydrop were examined by ultraound biomicrocopy (UBM). Reult Ultraound biomicrocopy (UBM) examination revealed a rupture of Decemet membrane and intratromal cleft in all eye. In 11 of 13 eye, the intratromal cleft were connected to the anterior chamber. Concluion Formation of intratromal cleft may be an important factor in the development of acute hydrop in keratoconic eye. The cleft may caue evere corneal edema and delay the cloure of Decemet membrane during the reolution of corneal edema.
