Hankel determinants and orthogonal polynomials

We develop a general context for the computation of the determinant of a Hankel matrix Hn = (αi+j)0 i,j n, assuming some suitable conditions for the exponential (or ordinary) generating function of the sequence (αn)n 0. Several well-known particular cases are thus derived in a unified way.
