On the generic hyperplane section of curves in positive characteristic Original Research Article

Here we consider the generic hyperplane section, S, of a curve C subset ofPn such that every secant line to C is a multisecant line. We give several results on the postulation and the index of regularity of S. We show that several groups cannot arise as monodromy groups for the family of hyperplane sections of C
