Some properties of abstract convexity structures on topological spaces Original Research Article

In this paper, we establish some relationships among abstract convexity, the selection property and the fixed point property. We show that if a convexity structure CC defined on a topological space has the selection property then CC satisfies the HH-condition. Moreover, in an l.cl.c. compact metric space, the selection property implies the fixed point property.
