On the computation of the thermoelastic characteristics of a perforated plate of a heat exchanger Original Research Article

The paper consider the numerical calculation of homogenized (or effective) thermoelastic characteristics of a perforated plate having a periodic structure. This plate maintains the tube bundle of a heat exchanger. A simplified formulation of the cellular problems is proposed. Description of the numerical process based on finite element method, for the cellular problems and for the homogenized characteristics, is given. Some results and parametric studies are presented.
