A necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of positive solutions of fourth-order singular boundary value problems Original Research Article

This paper studies positive solutions to a class of superlinear (sublinear) fourth-order singular boundary value problems by means of operator approximation theory and fixed point theorems. A necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of C3[0, 1] positive solutions is obtained, which extends and includes some known results.
