A systems analysts computer watch: 1943-2003

An abiding interest in computerization and the manner in which it is-or is not-implemented, especially in large organizations, grew out of the authorʹs professional life as a systems analyst and became a lifelong pursuit. In this recollection, she describes what it was like to work as an analyst in the 1940s and 1950s, and she also describes a number of incidents that reflected prevailing attitudes toward women in the workplace.
