Objective Brain abscesses represent organ ized foci of suppuration within the parenchyma. Here we report a 3 month-old girl w ith a very huge complicated cerebral abscess, and the cours e of treatment give n. The patientיs recovery w as excellent. The follow up MRI showed only subtle porenceph alic changes as the only parenchymal sequelae, which may be due to CNS plasti city in infants .
