Th is paper present s an overview of a study on th e design and analysis aspects of th e Lake Urm ia Br idge in Iran. For years th ere have been several det ailed inv estigations on this subj ect . Here. th ese alt ernatives are discussed and , th en, results of analyses for a prop osed solution , a floating bridge, are presented. Thes e aspect s include envi ronmenta l loads, st ructure and th e mooring system.
