چكيده فارسي :
The global crisis (2008-2009) has underscored the need for effective global institution to protect global financial stability. Complementing the traditional crisis resolution role of the IMF, the Fund has responded during the recent crisis by revamping its surveillance, adjusting its lending policies, reform of the quota system, augmenting its available resources, further strengthening instruments to prevent crises and mitigate contagion. This paper aims to assess the effectiveness of these reforms in enabling IMF to safeguarding global economic and financial stability in the post-crisis world.
