This research deals with the phenomenon of the omission of the verb in Arabic language an shows the foundations on which it was based and the conditions that govern it to understand its reality and objectives through a number of viewpoints of the ancient whatever their doctrines may be. Those viewpoints materialized for us the reality of the phenomenon and its treatment that the omission of the verb in the Arabic sentence was based on a precise linguistic thinking and in many cases it was related to the theory of grammatical factor with its linguistic concept, taking into account the sign of omission whether it is contextual or situational of what surrounds the speaker or listener as conditions an circumstances that reveal what disappeared in the structure as far the elements of the construction of the sentence are concerned.
