The Shia consciencehad been linked organically with Imam Hussein (PBUH) and formed the Shia identity and marked it with its special features out of all of the other Islamic doctrines, and this is a special trait that encouraged him to accept the martyrdom in his defense of the Islamic principles and the values which he believed in.The Shia jihadi act especially- and the Islamic one in general- is based on the conscious and bloody martyrdom of Imam Hussein (PBUH) and his household and faithful companions.This study observes and analyses the situation of Imam Hussein (PBUH) and his faithful companions and approach it with the Iraqi Shia reality which is represented by the popular crowd “AlhashdAlshaebi”.The study is comprised of three chapters and a conclusion. The first chapter deals with the Husseinian monotheism. The second chapter sheds light on the term martyrdom which is marked by the Husseinian revolution in “Ashura”, the third chapter deals with the influence of the Iraqi popular crowd that is based on the Husseinianrenaissance. The conclusion sums up the finding of the study.
