Expansion to the east is considered one of the most important strategies that the European unio‎n has followed to unify the various policies between eastern and western Europe. Despite the accession of many eastern and central countries, negotiations with Turkey remained. From this point of view, this study aims to analyze the issue of Turkey's accession to the European unio‎n in light of its expansion to the east. Until today, Turkey has not been able to convince the European unio‎n of the idea of ​​joining the European unio‎n, despite the great improvement it has achieved at all levels. The decision to accept it from the member states was subject to many historical, political, demographic and religious considerations. This study came out with the development of possible scenarios for the course of the negotiations.
