This paper deals with an exceptional, though not unfamiliar, type of literary creativity. It focuses on the creative concept behind works that claim to be translated from an unknown source language that turns out to be either an imaginary, dead, or rarely used language. The paper reveals and reviews the phenomenon of some authors writing narratives that are supposedly composed in an extinct or a hypothetical language. The aim of this paper is to highlight this practice of literary language, its potential, and its invisible but energetic sources. Creativity in the veritable, successful works cited in this study is traced back to fake sources. The researchers also use this brand of creative works to revisit the longstanding issue of the relationship between the Literary Language and the creative mind at display in the end-product, i.e., the narrative text. It is essential to stress here that no process of translation is in any way involved in the texts cited by this study. The whole claim of translation is, by and large, a device on the authors part. It is the code to composition and the formula to defamiliarize the familiar. The concepts and the practices explored in this research are molded in the narrative frame of language functions ranging from experiential to interpersonal
