Professor Abd al-Rahman al-Haj Salih is known for his strong attachment to the ancient Arabic linguistic heritage. This attachment was not motivated by fanaticism, but rather because he discovered in this heritage very deep and accurate scientific facts, many of which were not found among Westerners, past and present. He studied this heritage objectively, without any prejudice, and devoid of any ready-made judgment. In all his researches that dealt with this heritage, he worked on highlighting all that is authentic and protesting for it.
