Ido is an artificial language constructed to become a universal second language for many speakers of various linguistic backgrounds as a language easier to learn than ethnic languages. Unlike English, which is a natural and frequently irregular language, Ido was specifically designed for grammatical, orthographic, and lexicographical regularity i.e. there are no exceptions for its rules as in other native languages (Ido 2011:1).
