Avoiding a claim that the hadith contradicts the Qur’an

This study attempts to counter-argue doubts raised concerning Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) Sunnah, which has been claimed it may clash with Quranic texts, and claim that they cannot not reconciled. This paper unveils the history of this claim, its source and those behind it and their motives in the past and the present. It has either stemmed from ignorance of interpreting texts, misunderstand; imitating those who stirred it; or as a result of bad intentions and malice against Islam by its enemies as a step to reject implementing Prophet Muhammad’s Sunnah, and thus undermining the Islam as whole. This research reiterated scholars’ established methodologies in responding to such calumnies with proofs and established religious and mental argumentations. Moreover, in responding to such doubts is an assertion to the absence of any conflict amongst various prophetic narrations and the Quran because both are divine revelations. The paper consists of two parts in addition to an introduction and a preface: first, the history and pseudo proofs of this calumny; second, the scientific methodology of rebutting it.
