This article belongs to the achievements and shortcomings of linguistic meaning in two disciplines: philosophy of language and psycholinguistics. Firstly, a brief review of their literature will be presented. Then their research methods and accomplishments will be compared. Finally, the complexity of linguistic meaning in both framework will be posed.
