We have developed a simulation tool, ASILA, for generating all thedifferent sets containing k different haplotypes on n SNPs, k,n ∈ N and k ≤ n+1 such that these sets are satisfying the perfect phylogeny property (coalescent property). We show that the number of these sets is an exponential function with respect to k or n. The program is available at http://bioinf.cs.ipm.ac.ir/softwares/ASILA.
