Routing and Emergency Facility at Event Time Using GIS Network Analysis (Case Study: Mashhad

Today, living in cities is more dependent on services than any other era in human life, and it is mainly due to the complicated physical-spatial structure of relationships and socio-economic activities Deepening and expansion of social and economic division of Labor and growing cultural, recreational, and social necessities of city-dwellers seem necessary. Services that are related to an individualʹs health and the medical needs of citizens make up a part of these services and are provided to them by hospitals or other medical clinics situated in cities. This present article has a descriptive-analytical method and is applied in nature. Here, the issue of hospitalsʹ spatial analysis in the city of Mashhad has been examined. It should be noted that arc GIS software and network analyst model are also used. The findings indicate that hospitals are mostly concentrated in district no. 8 of the city, while the districts no. 5, 11, and 12 do not have any hospitals at all. Moreover, Samen and district no. 8 provide the most access to hospitals in Mashhad and the best hospital in terms of providing necessary services and accessibility to downtown is located in Samen zone
