In this work a simple one-step method for fabricating three-dimensional graphene aerogel by using NiO nanoparticles and self-assembly of graphene oxide was developed, the hydrogels were freezedried to obtai the aerogels. graphene aerogel was characterized by FT-IR, SEM, XRD. Graphene aerogel have high porosity and micro pore size. The adsorption of Methylene blue with graphene aerogels were investigated, as a novel adsorbent graphene aerogel exhibit high performance in the removal of Methylene blue from aqueous solutions.
