This study describes the preparation, characterization, and electrochemical behavior of eggshell membrane doped graphene oxide (ESM-GO) as a novel platform for electrode materials. The ESM-GO bionanocomposite was prepared by incorporation of GO nano-sheets into ESM via a facile sonication method, which was decorated on the surface of carbon ceramic electrode (CCE) by an O-ring. Cyclic voltammetry, field emission electron microscopy, and x-ray diffraction powder techniques were used for characterization of the developed platform. Subsequently, the ESM-GO|CCE was modified with hemoglobin (Hb) via a Put a drop of it, and the resulted modified electrode (Hb|ESM-GO|CCE) was used as a novel hydrogen peroxide electrochemical biosensor. The fabricated electrode responds efficiently to H2O2 over the concentration range 5-500 µM with the detection limit 1.7 μM (S/N=3) and sensitivity 0.216 µA µM-1 cm-2. Having good stability, environment friendly, cheapness, and nontoxic, was the benefits of the modified biosensor.
