تكنولوژي به عنوان بخشي از محيط بر آدمي تأثير نهاده و در شكل گيري هويت او نقش ايفاء مي نمايد. معماري و تكنولوژي تفكيك‌ناپذير مي باشند و جايي كه معماري منطبق برتكنولوژي شود در واقع هدفي جز كيفيت‌بخشيدن به فضاندارد. با توجه به مساله جهاني شدن، ورود اين تكنولوژي نمي‌تواند بدون ملاحظات زمينه اجتماعي، فرهنگي و بومي اتفاق بيفتد چرا كه صورتي دروغين و ناپايدار به خود خواهد گرفت، تكنولوژي منطبق با توجه به زمينه فرهنگي و اجتماعي و به خصوص بستر منطقه اي (توجه به ويژگي هاي فرهنگي، جغرافيايي و اقليمي يك منطقه خاص) آثارمعماري مي تواند منجر به يك معماري ماندگار و درخشان گردد. در همين زمينه، تحقيق حاضر به بررسي معماري دبي و نقش نهاد تكنولوژي منطبق سازه در گفتمان معماري اين شهر با رويكرد زمينه گرايي مي پردازد و از روش توصيفي- تحليلي استفاده مي كند. مطالعه نشان مي دهد كه تكنولوژي منطبق در معماري با رويكرد زمينه گرايي، بايستي در ابعاد ديگر به جز بعد تكنولوژيك صرف، پاسخگو باشد، تكنولوژي منطبق با توجه به زمينه فرهنگي و اجتماعي مي تواند كيفيت، هماهنگي، انعطاف پذيري ، انسجام و تنظيم شرايط وكل معنادار را به ارمغان آورد. و نوآوري در معماري بايستي به تعامل متناسب ميان روح و معنا با كالبد و صورت بيانجامد در غير اين صورت تقليد و الگو برداري صرف از غرب و پذيرش فرهنگي كه تكنولوژي همراه خود مي آورد در كنار رهايي فضا و زمان از قيد مكان ، به بحران هويت و معنا منجر شده و زمينه اجتماعي و فرهنگي خدشه دار مي گردد.

In this regard, the present research examines the architecture of Dubai and the role of the institution of adaptive technology in the architecture of this city with a context-based approach and uses descriptive-analytical method. The study suggests that adaptive technology with context-oriented approach must be accountable in other dimensions,the technology, in accordance with the cultural and social context, can be of quality, harmony, flexibility, coherence and Setting the conditions and meaningful Whole. Architectural innovation must lead to a proper interaction between the soul and the meaning. In other words, the mere imitation of the West and the cultural acceptance of the technology brought along, along with the release of space and time from the constraint, to the identity crisis and meaning and the social and cultural context will be undermined.
