This work, presents the preparation and characterization of a drug carrier based on mesoporous silica-coated magnetic graphene oxide (MG@mSiO2). Ibuprofen (IBU) as an anti-inflammatory drug was loaded in the MG@mSiO2. Prepared nanocomposite was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), and N2 adsorption/desorption analysis. Drug loading and releasing results showed that the prepared nanocomposite has a good potential as a drug carrier.
