In this paper, we introduce a seven{term novel fractional-order chaotic system. Stability
analysis of the fractional-order system is studied using the fractional Routh-Hurwitz criteria.
The nonstandard finite difference (NSFD) scheme is implemented to study the dynamic
behaviors in the novel fractional-order chaotic system. The lowest order for the system to
remain chaotic is found via numerical simulation
