هنر و معماري از ديرباز به عنوان ابزار در دست انسان ها براي بيان ايده ها، افكار و احساساتشان مي باشد.كودكان نيز براي به نمايش گذاشتن افكار و ذهنيات خويش از اين ابزار استفاده مي كنند.اغلب كودكان براي خلق آثار هنري، نياز به تشويق كمي دارند و با ساده ترين امكانات قادر به خلق يك اثر هستند كه جهت خلق يك اثر بايستي محيط لازم متناسب با نيازهاي كودك فراهم گردد؛ محيطي كه بتواند كودكان را مخاطب قرار داده و آنها را به چالش وادارد.در اين امر مهم به معماراني آشنا به علوم رفتاري كودك احتياج مي باشد.واقعيت مهمي كه در جامعه امروز ايران با آن روبرو هستيم و تهديدي جدي براي آيندگان به شمار مي رود، اهميت ندادن و يا به عبارتي ديگر ناچيز شمردن كودكان و جهان كوچك آنها مي باشد.در تحقيق حاضر ابتدا به شناخت كودك و نيازهاي او و سپس به بررسي هنر و معماري كودك و تأثير آن در فراهم آوردن شرايط مطلوب جهت رشد جسمي، ذهني، عاطفي و اجتماعي كودكان و شكوفايي استعدادها و علايق آنها پرداخته شده است.

Art and architecture for a long time ago are as a tool in the human beings for expressing ideas, thoughts and emotions.Also children use from this tool for showing their thoughts.Most children need to a little encouragement for creating artwork and they are able to create an art with a little facilities which in order to creating an art, it should be an environment which is prepared proportional with children’s needs; an environment which can address children and encourage them to challenge.In this way, it’s necessary to have architects that are acquaint with children behavioral sciences.An important fact that confront in Iran’s today society and is a serious threat for future beings, not caring and in other words misprize children and their small world.On this existence research first, recognizing children and their needs and then children art and architecture and effects of that on preparing favorable conditions for children growth of somatic, subjective, emotional and social and discovery of their talent and favorites has investigated.
