    In this paper effect of graphene substrate on absorption of Ag spherical nano-shells is investigated. Nanoshells for two cases of air core and silicon core are considered. Effect of overall size of nano-shells is also studied. Simulations show that silicon core has improved absorption over air core. It is shown that with graphene substrate absorption enhancement of nano-shells, for both cases of core material and for two different sizes of the nano-shell, is acheived. Simulations are done with CST Microwave Studio
