The oil and gas industry focuses on global processes of exploration, extraction, refining,
transporting and marketing petroleum products in order to satisfy the energy demand of worldwide
consumers.
The correct identification of various impact factors through the flow lines is critical for the proper
design and development of the correct headline strategy for the field under consideration. For
example almost all the times liquids exist inmate with gas in pipelines so the designer should be
aware about any traces of liquid that impair the flow of natural gas and be ready to propose the
pioneer remedial solutions to solve the difficulty.
Understanding how hydrocarbon fluids interact with and react to their thermodynamic
surroundings is essential to adequately analyze system of interest. For such a task, the natural gas
engineer must be equipped with reliable stream pipelines prediction tools that are capable of
predicting the thermodynamic and fluid mechanics behavior of hydrocarbon crawl inside
pipelines.
This paper is a form of experiences archive picked up through daily work observations in NISOCGachsaran
Oil & Gas Production Company as a participant of gas processing group.
The author anticipates giving some practical key issu to engineers work within the gas industry to
be strong in making powerful decisions to govern the flow of natural gas through pipes in any
basic and detail engineering design steps and also help them to take ability to covers minimum
requirements for general aspects to be considered in safe design of piping for gas plants.
