In this research, LLE data for ternary system of (ethylene glycol + benzene + hexane) at 298.15
K and ternary system of (ethylene glycol + toluene + heptane) at temperatures (308.15 and
313.15) K have been measured. The results showed that ethylene glycol as a solvent has a good
selectivity for separation of benzene from hexane and toluene from heptane. Comparing the
selectivity factors in two different temperatures indicated that, increasing temperature causes
increasing selectivity factor.
