Nano-sized zeolite NaY was successfully synthesized within 5–8 h of crystallization at 100 0C at atmospheric pressure. NaY zeolite was hydrothermally synthesied by 1.0Al2O3: 10 SiO2: 4.62 N2O: 180 H2O molar gel composition, without adding any organic additives. Effects of temprature and reaction time on cyrstal size and crystallinity of the product were studied. It was found out that by increasing reaction time from 5 to 8 h, the synthesized crystal size and crystallinity of the product increases. Also, by increasing temperature from 80 to 100 °C, crystallinity of the product increases. In this study, it was found out that H2O/Al2O3 content plays a critical role in controlling the crystal size. Crystal size of zeolite NaY was found in the range of 40–100 nm.
