In this study the effect of adding different concentrations of kinetic inhibitors on the induction
time of hydrogen sulfide hydrate formation in a reactor with automatic adjustable temperature has
been studied. H2S gas exist in oil and gas industries and also in atomic industries. In experiments
with a new method called sudden cooling, induction time of H2S gas hydrate is determined an then
using PVP and L-Tyrosine kinetic inhibitors in different concentration, the induction time
compared with no inhibitor condition. PVP was detected a suitable material for increasing the
induction time of H2S hydrate formation.
