In this article, an analytical procedure is employed to solve free vibration of a rotating thick circular cylindrical shell that the shell rotates about its longitudinal axis. The effects of Coriolis and centrifugal forces are considered. Equations of motion are derived based on sanders shell theory with considering first order shear deformation theory. Also, FG material properties change through the thickness direction according to a power law distribution function. State space method is used to solve equations for all of the classical boundary conditions. The present results are compared with those of the literature. The effect of geometry and material parameters of FG cylindrical shell on natural frequencies are studied for various rotational speeds and boundary conditions.
