    Growing demand for high power density and efficiency of Synchronous Machines (SyncM) has inspired investigators to optimize SyncRM, in order to enhance electromagnetic characteristics of such machine, in which the stator structure is as same as SyncM and Induction Machine (IM), however there is no winding in rotor, providing lower copper loss. The goal of this paper is to select an optimal steel sheet for stator and rotor to enhance power characteristics of the machine, reaching lower losses and higher power (torque) density. All proposed configurations were designed with same dimension and analyzed under same condition and compared in order to illustrate the merits of optimized model
