SAG mills tend to use in the industry due to lower energy consumption is increasingly enhanced. Only a small percentage of the energy consumed by the grinding, However grinding in SAG mill is depended on many factors such as hardness, size and shape of feed and ball and speed of rotation and geometry of lifter. Therefore, the achievement of the above factors and energy consumption is of particular importance. In this research, effect of lifter profiles by changes in the height and angle of the lifter on the grindability feed has been investigated using experimental and numerical methods, also the optimum lifting height and angle for maximum grinding has been derived by calculating shear and von misses stresses due to ball impacts.
