Spring back pays a major role in bent tubes quality as an important factor. Studies have shown that spring back phenomenon may affect the deformation rate within manufactured pieces by this method. Therefore, in order to provide a production method and increasing the accuracy of products specifications. It’s necessary to identify effecting factors of this phenomenon. In this paper, spring back within double layer tubes has been investigated using finite element model. Three dimensional simulation has been applied to investigate effective parameters on bending. Results of empirical and finite element methods were in a reasonable consistence after comparison that approved the accuracy of results. The objective of this paper is to provide a model for spring back forecasts within double layer steel – brass tubes regarding conditions of bending process.
