Herein, the carbon felt (CF) after modification by poly 4-methyl-1,2-diaminobenzene (p-MDAB) and Pt nanoparticles is used as the anode for methanol oxidation. The electrochemical examination of the modified CF proves the excellent cooperation between polymeric film and carbonaceous substrate for accession of the electrochemical efficiency of Pt nanoparticles in acidic media.
