This study was designed to examine the interaction of complex of curcumin (Scheme. 1a) and curcumin (Scheme. 1b) with human serum albumin (HSA), by different kinds of spectroscopic techniques. Fluorescence quenching and absorption spectra were investigated in order to estimate the binding parameters. HSA contains one tryptophan with intrinsic fluorescence. When other molecules interact with HSA, tryptophan fluorescence may change. binding constants were also determined using quenching method
