This paper proposes a new step-up DC/DC converter with high voltage gain. This topology has formed from the combination of an LCCT impedance network and switched-capacitor cells with only one power switch. This power switch performs shoot-through state and transfers energy between switched-capacitor cells. The voltage stress on power switch is half of the output voltage value and can be decreased by engaging more switched-capacitor cells. This converter operates in continuous current mode (CCM). The output voltage gain can be increased by adding extra switched-capacitor cells. Both simulations and experiments evaluate the performance of this new converter. Results confirm the proposed topology and show this converter can reach 91% efficiency under the full-load condition.
