Abstract—High gain voltage conversion is a feature required
for several applications, especially for power processing of low
voltage renewable sources in grid connected systems. In this
paper, a new nonisolated high step up dc-dc converter with
common-cathode impedance-network and a passive switchedcapacitor
is proposed. The ability to achieve high gains is the
main merit of the proposed topology. The proposed converter
operates based on parallel charging and series discharging of the
inductors and capacitors. The converter also achieves high stepup
voltage gain with appropriate duty cycle and low voltage and
current stress on the power switches and diodes. The proposed
converter is analyzed in continues operation modes.
