Present study aims at producing uniaxially aligned fiber and realizing the effect of fiber alignment on electrical properties of electrospun fibers made from the blend of poly vinylalcohol (PVA) and poly 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene:poly styrenesulfonate (PEDOT:PSS). Using different types of collectors including aluminum drum and circled parallel copper wires, randomly-oriented and uniaxially-aligned fibers were prepared respectively. Fibers morphology were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Measurement of complex impedance (Z*) of the fibers was then conducted using a LCR meter during a frequency sweep test. For uniaxially aligned fibers a narrower distribution and a lower fiber diameter were observed. For random oriented fibers a higher resistivity was measured.
