In this study Response Surface Methodology (RSM) was used for the design and analysis of keratin dispersion production condition. Based on analysis of variance (ANOVA), a quadratic mathematical model was best fitted to the experimental data with a good precision of 22.21. Analysis of variance showed the significant parameters in the model, it also showed that the model is significant with an acceptable R-squared of 0.966. Choosing the best Tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane (Tris base) concentration was dependent on the inlet keratin concentration. When working with low keratin concentrations, low Tris base concentration gives better results and at higher keratin inlet concentrations using higher Tris base concentration seems better.
