When the material gives a phase change, the added heat changes the structure of the molecules rather than the effect of increasing the temperature. In this study, the effects of phase change in ice and phase change materials were investigated and compared. For this, in the Comsol software, a 1-centimeter rod was used to model ice and phase-change materials. The results show that the use of paraffin as a phase-change material increases the temperature range of the melting process. Also, the n-Octadecane diffusion agent, relative to paraffin, can be used in different applications and different region temperature.
