Through the years past the development of novel methods to prepare electro-spun composites and producing fibers consisting of chitosan/PVA and also the composite including their particles, the comparison of modeling systems have not been vastly investigated. When the chitosan is increased in compositions, the decrease in fiber diameter was evident. In this study, the neural network model is utilized to predict the fiber diameters by the distance, feeding rate, composition and applied variables. Besides, adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) was used to predict the fiber diameters and the data obtained by the designed model was in good agreement with experimental data. This generated model can help environmental engineers prepare the spun nano fibers to obtain desired properties
